DAS Dalmatians are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of those who use our services and website.

  In particular, we would like you to know that DAS will not sell, rent or trade email lists or personal data with other companies businesses or charities for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that kind of thing. 

However, in case you are sceptical, we have provided, in this Privacy Policy lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.  So please read on.....
 

Cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive.  Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site.  They allow web applications to respond to you as an individual.  Cookies are used to identify which pages are being used which helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website to customer needs.
 

When someone visits www.dasdalmatians.co.uk we may use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.


As part of the registration process for our adoption/fostering/surrendering/volunteering, we collect personal information.

 

We use that information for a couple of reasons:  To enable us to help you in fostering/adopting/surrendering/volunteering with DAS.  We also use it to check our records are correct and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. 

We do not rent or trade email or personal data lists with other organisation, businesses or charities. 

However, it is important to understand that your information will need to be shared with the individuals involved in your request for fostering/adopting/surrendering/volunteering for DAS.  They will not be shared with anyone else other than the individuals concerned.  Personal data is securely maintained and kept by the DAS.
